11 Months!

Holy cow (this was suppose to be posted a month ago! I wrote it but hit save instead of publish my bad! Next week there will be one for 1 Year!!!) RUGER is going to be ONE next month!!! As you can tell I missed posting about 10 months it was crazy around here getting into our new house and everything I am still working on that post! I am so far behind its not even funny! ha ha

Well Ruger started walking just after he turned 10 months! It is so crazy how fast he is growing and learning. Where did my baby go? I am starting to have mixed emotions about him turning one, I am not going to lie. I want him to stay little forever. He is so much fun and just loves life. He laughs at everything, I mean everything! Mitch and I will be talking about what happened at work or the day that we have had and he will just sit and laugh. Then we start laughing because he is just so darn cute! We love him so much and believe me we are going all out for his birthday so for those of you who can't make it to the party I will post everything the next week...I hope :)

He loves to play with other kids he has a hard time when things get taken from him but who doesn't! I still do and I am ... well we won't go there but you get the idea. He loves being outside with his daddy. Mitch and him are so cute together, he defiantly loves his daddy, and his daddy loves him that's for sure!

He LOVES the shower! I can't keep him out of it even with his clothes on!

Ate mud after the rain storm!

LOVES spaghetti! He knows he gets to shower after eating it that's why!

New favorite toy is the BOX!

Sneaky little pill! He found daddy's pop that lucky for us hadn't been opened yet!

He thinks he's pretty funny too!

Our first 4th of July!

Well we thought about getting up and going to the parade but we are all tired out from moving, and we were to excited about my family coming over to spend the weekend with us. We tried to hurry and get as much put away as possible so we could enjoy their stay with us.

Ruger had so much fun with his Grandpa, Grandma, and aunt and uncles!! When my family came, Mitch, my dad and my brothers went out and bought some fireworks so we could light them off!

Ruger loved it! He had to wear his dad's earmuffs for some of it, but he loved all the bright colors! There were fireworks going off everywhere, because all of the neighbors seemed to have the same idea.
Wearing Dad's earmuffs and hanging with Grandpa doing fireworks!

Family!! Happy 4th!

Smiling with his dad!

Hey, it's Mykala here! (I'm Nicole's sister if any of you were wondering!) When Nicole and Mitch went to Evanston on the 5th, so Nicole could have her surgery, my family and I were in charge of taking care of Ruger! We had a lot of fun! We went swimming that Friday at the Rock Springs Family Rec center, and Ruger loved it! He liked to watch all the kids splashing, and he loved to splash himself! He really missed his mommy and daddy though! When my family went to go home on Sunday, the 7th, I stayed behind to help take care of Ruger, since Nicole wasn't able to lift him. It has been so much fun getting to hang out with this little guy!

9 Months!

Oh my heck I don't know where the time has gone! Ruger is 9 Months already! We took him to the Dr. for his well check and he is growing great. He weighed in at 20 lbs and is 27 1/2 inches tall. He loves to sing and dance. His little personality is defiantly his own. He is getting into everything, he is so close to walking its not even funny. He is really quick so if it gets really quiet and you can't find him he is probably into something he shouldn't be. We moved which that will be in a different post but with that said Ruger is loving all the new space and things to play with. We got a trailer for the bike finally and it converts into a stroller, Well my sister Mykala is here with us for about 3 weeks so you will hear from her I am sure, but she is so thrilled we have that now she can keep training for cross country and take Ruger and Mazie with her!

He finally has hair to spike!

Our HAPPY HAPPY BOY!

June got away from me! Sorry for the late posts but I will hopefully get caught up and back on track! Enjoy!

8 Months!

Ruger is getting so big! He is now 19 lbs 12 oz! What a big kid. He is so much fun, into everything but its so fun to watch him figure things out. He is starting to pull himself up on to things, and he will push things around the living room to get around. This little one will be walking before we know it! He has 2 teeth on the bottom and is getting 2 on the top but its not the 2 you would think. He is going to be a little vampire when they finish poking through. :)

We went to Idaho for Memorial Day weekend. We spent a couple days in Ashton with the Heiners. We had a lot of fun. Went to Idaho Falls and had lunch with Grandpa and Grandma Heiner. Mitch and Paul, his dad, serviced our Yukon, his dads pick up, and the 2 four-wheelers. While they did that Ruger and I went for a long walk so he would take a nap. When we got back I planted flowers. Jen, Mitch's sister, and her kids came up to Ashton to hang out for a while. It was good to see them and get to spend time with them. Grandpa Merrill came up as well and when he got there we loaded up and headed to Island Park to go see the rest of Mitch's siblings. It was a lot of fun, we went on a four-wheeler ride, sat around and got to talk to everyone. It was so nice to go up and enjoy the nice weather, and good company. Ruger was able to play with his cousins, he was loving having someone else to play with.

Sunday night we went to my parents house and was able to spend time with my whole family. Monday morning we went to the Cemetery and put flowers out and then went swimming at Green Canyon. Ruger had so much fun in the water. I couldn't tell who was enjoying it more Grandpa or Ruger. So fun to watch them play, very proud grandparents that's for sure.

Yesterday we went to a birthday party at the park for one our friends daughter. Ruger loves to be outside. If he gets fussy and the door is open he will crawl to the door and want outside. So funny. So we spent most of the day outside and he loved it.

Playing at the park. He got a wand from the Princess party!

Got some new toys yesterday he loves to stand and play at his new table!

Our First Mother's Day!

Well our first Mother's Day was great other than the fact that I was sick all day! But it was great and I was spoiled as usual. Mitch wanted to make me breakfast and I appreciated the gesture but wasn't feelin up to it. Instead he made a great lunch and by that time I was feeling a little better so I did get to eat something. :)

Ruger learned to crawl that day as well! Happy Mother's day to me! Thought he was into everything before, guess again its even worse now because he is faster and getting from point A to point B. I love it though its so cute to see him figure things out and how excited he gets when he gets to where he wants to be without any help. He is growing so fast! Now that he is crawling it didn't take him long to pull himself up to everything. Before he would use my shirt or my arm, now its everything else from the couch to his toy shelf. He'll be walking before we know it!

Ruger and I made a trip to Idaho the week before Mother's day so we could attend Mykala's final track meet and Nick and Dillan's baseball games and everything else that went on between them! While we where there Ruger learned who his "bum-pa" (Grandpa) is! That was his first word! I had been trying to get him to say "ma ma" all day and my dad walks up to him and he says "bum-pa"!  It was so cute, I will say though that I am still a little jelous. At first I thought it was just a new sound he was saying but nope everytime my dad walked into a room he would say it! He knows what he is talking about. :) So when Ruger gets to see his other "bum-pa" I am sure Paul will be proud that he said that as well!

Doesn't he look so handsome in his cute little tie!

Grumpy gills with his daddy! I love them both so much!

7 Months!

Its so hard to believe that Ruger is now 7 months old! I don't know where the time has gone. He isn't crawling yet but he sure does know how to get around the little house. He is playing with his toys one min watching Curious George and the next he is under my feet in the kitchen while I do dishes or make dinner. He will spin in circles and push himself wherever he wants to go. I think having no carpet helps him do this! He is so curious about everything. Everyday he is into something new trying to figure out how it works or what it is. So cute to watch him learn.

He has his daddy wrapped around his little finger. Mitch was out of town for a couple days and when he got back all Ruger wanted to do was be with his dad. Especially if daddy was outside doing something he wanted to be out there too. It has been such a nice week that Ruger and I have spent a lot of time out in the sun enjoying it! Yesterday Mitch and I took Ruger out to car show and we walked around town all day. We put a jacket on Ruger along with his sunglasses and he was set. As long as the stroller is moving and he is sitting up he loves it. We even walked around the mall and watched the pinewood derby races for a min. I can already tell its going to be hard to get this little one to come in the house for anything once its warm enough to play out there all day!

I am not sure of his weight now but at his 6 month appointment he was 18 lbs 6 oz. He is getting so big! He got his first tooth a couple days before his 7 month birthday! Lets just say it was a hard week for both of us but now at least he has something to show for it!

Our happy lil boy! He pulls the cutest faces!

He just plows over anything and everything!

Playing keep away from Mazie

His First TOOTH!

Always laughing and having fun watching Curious George!

Trip to Idaho!

We made a trip to Idaho a couple weeks ago. While we were there we went to my sister, Mykala's track meet. That was fun to watch I am proud of Mykala for being a part of that. It looks like fun when the wind isn't blowing! ha ha. After the track meet we went to Idaho Falls to meet with the Heiner family and have lunch. Ruger had a chance to play with his cousins! He had so much fun. He was so tired by the time we hit the main road to head back to Rexburg, he was out!

Sat night Ruger got to meet my dad's new calves! He thought those were pretty cool. It was pretty cold so we didn't get to see them for long but our next visit hopefully its warm enough we'll go out and help feed and maybe Ruger will pet the horses.

Hadley and his new back pack!

Ruger fits!

Sunday we went to Shelley for our best friends baby blessing! Mike and Brittney blessed their sweet baby Ayden! He is so cute & growing so fast! We decided to take some pictures of the two of them together it was so funny to watch their expressions.
